This Labor Day, we invite you to step into the long tradition of courage, solidarity, and struggle that has shaped our workplaces, our communities, and our aspiring democracy.
Join organizers from Strike for Your Rights and the MTA Labor Caucus as we connect the victories of the past to the challenges of today — and prepare for bold action ahead.
Together, we’ll gear up for a U.S. “Day Off” action, inspired by the Icelandic Women’s Strike, to show the true power of a people united against corporate rule.
As we partner with Strike for Our Rights in their mission to shift the collective culture to support, organize, and promote strikes in the U.S. as a means of advocating for justice, equity, and systemic change
Why labor? Because organized labor has always been the backbone of the fight for justice — from the eight-hour workday to health and safety protections. Today, labor is also a key ally in the fight to win the We the People Amendment, ending corporate rule over our democracy once and for all.
Move to Amend’s Labor Caucus is where strategy meets solidarity. Some say change begins at the grassroots, others at the national level — the truth is, we need both. And together, we’re stronger.
Our Goal: Build lasting solidarity from organized labor for the We the People Amendment, and together, create real democracy for people — not corporations.
Will you join us for this Labor Day Rap Session as we labor to stand shoulder to shoulder with workers, organizers, and changemakers?
