🤔Questions:
- If your house is on fire, should a bucket be used to extinguish it instead of one or more fire hoses?
- If thirty doses of a medicine are required to treat a serious illness, should your doctor only prescribe ten?
- If all your car brakes fail, should only one be repaired for maximum safety?
The answer when asked to each is obvious: Are you out of your mind!!
Solutions to problems should be equivalent in scale to problems.
This same approach applies to social, economic and political problems, not simply personal problems.
Systemic political solutions are essential to solve systemic political – and other – problems.
Our government isn’t broken. It’s fixed, as in rigged to benefit the super rich and corporations.
The We the People Amendment is a systemic solution to many systemic crises we face. It’s based on an indisputable fact: corporations and super wealthy individuals have too much power in limiting the choices and power we have in our lives – on our health care, food, housing, transportation, education, jobs, communication, and elections, as well as our desire for clean air, water and land. The November election results reinforce this reality and make our collective work more urgent.
Your financial support is needed right now! A generous donor has pledged to match every donation made until midnight tonight, effectively doubling your impact!
As you know, no other national group is committed to continuing to build the educational and cultural awareness and support for the fundamental change that is fundamentally needed – the We the People Amendment that asserts human rights over corporate rights and the rights of billionaires to corrupt our elections.
We don’t know when our goal will be reached. But it’s guaranteed that corporate constitutional rights and money defined as “free speech” will forever continue if our work to build awareness and support both inside the government and at the grassroots doesn’t continue.
Please make a generous one-time or monthly contribution to help us end our year on solid ground.
Onward together in 2025 for systemic change!
