Medicaid Cuts are HERE as Part of Project 2025!

The worst-case scenario is unfolding before our eyes: The “One Big Baneful Bill Act,” which includes historic cuts to Medicaid as a core component of Project 2025, has just passed Congress and been signed into law on July 4, 2025. This is not a future threat; it is our current reality.
States now face fixed federal funding—regardless of actual need. This will force them to drastically cut services, limit eligibility, and reduce quality of care.
Many individuals who rely on Medicaid will lose coverage—even those already working or with serious health conditions
States now have the power to drop essential services like nursing home care and preventative care for children—leaving vulnerable populations without crucial support
Why This Underscores Our Need for the We the People Amendment (HJR54)
✅ Declaring that money is NOT speech
The We the People Amendment will empower everyday citizens, ensuring our government truly serves the people—not just powerful corporations and their well-funded agendas. Without it, policies like these Medicaid cuts—not to mention attacks on marginalized communities, climate, labor, LGBTQ+ rights, and more—will continue until we all join together to demand real democracy that protects vital public services.
Your voice matters! Together we can demand a government that works for ALL of us. Support the We the People Amendment and build against these harmful Medicaid cuts. Our healthcare, and the very foundation of a truly democratic society, depend on it!
