OHIO: Kent "Democracy Day" Public Hearing

CITY OF KENT, OHIO

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

In accordance with Article XII, Section 12.05 of the Kent City Charter, notice is hereby given that the Kent City Council will conduct a Public Hearing to examine the impact on the City, state and nation of political influence resulting from campaign contributions by corporate entities.

DEMOCRACY DAY will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Training Room/Council Chamber at the Main Fire Station, 320 S. Depeyster St., Kent, Ohio and will be broadcast live on the City of Kent’s YouTube Channel. A link to view this meeting can be found on the City of Kent’s calendar located at www.kentohio.org.

Any person wishing to be heard on the subject matter may appear at the time and place set forth above. Persons are strongly encouraged to submit their comments to the Clerk of Council, in writing, for inclusion in the Minutes of proceedings.
