2024 Election
This is your opportunity to shape the future and support candidates who align with our mission to amend the Constitution for the people, not corporate interests. We encourage you to cast your vote with an eye on whether your candidates have taken the Pledge to Amend, committing to use their office, if elected, to support H.J.R 54, the We the People Amendment. While we remain non-partisan, it’s essential to recognize those who are willing to stand with us.
Regardless of the election outcomes, our work to pass the We the People Amendment continues.
There’s still a lot to accomplish, and we’re excited to report that we welcomed two new congressional cosponsors in October:
Rep. Andrea Salinas (D-OR-6) on October 18, 2024
Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI-4) on October 29, 2024
With these additions, we’re one step closer to our goal of over 100 cosponsors for HJR 54, and we know there’s still time to reach this target. The 118th Congressional session doesn’t end until January 3, 2025, and historically, we’ve seen significant gains in cosponsors during the final months.
Let’s keep the momentum going!
To empower you further, we encourage you to use our One Click Politics tool, which allows you to easily call your representative’s office. With just a few simple questions—like your name, zip code, and phone number—you can make your voice heard in support of the We the People Amendment.
Here are other ways you can contribute to the success of H.J.R. 54

15 Years of Movement Building
We also want to take a moment to reflect on our recent 15th Anniversary celebration that took place on October 20th. This two-hour program featured insightful reflections from former and current board members, staff, co-directors, and volunteers as we looked back on our beginnings, assessed where we are now, and envisioned where we need to go together.
During the event, we delved into how our collective efforts have already begun to transform the impossible into the inevitable and how we can continue this vital work moving forward.

In this month's Affiliate Spotlight, we celebrate the Tuscaloosa Move to Amend affiliate group, with special thanks to Kiki Karatheodoris for her contributions. Their recent outreach efforts have led to significant endorsements, including Grace Presbyterian Church, and they are actively engaging the community through tabling events. With plans for an unmanned information table at the local library and outreach to the University Democrats, the Tuscaloosa team is setting an inspiring example of grassroots activism. Thank you, Kiki and the Tuscaloosa team, for your commitment to the We the People Amendment!
