January 21st Silent Vigil: Protest the 10 year Anniversary of Citizens United!

January 13, 2020

Our democracy is in danger! The 2010 Citizens United vs FEC Supreme Court ruling effectively gave our Republic to large corporations, unions and the wealthy with their corrupt decision to invalidate the political process in this country.

Join us for a Move to Amend Silent Vigil on Tuesday, January 21st at the Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza from 12:00 – 1:00 PM.

The founding principle of this country was one person, one vote! This principle is being corrupted by the millions of dollars being funneled into dark money sources who effectively have transformed our founding principle into one million dollars, one million votes. Our elections have become shams with Big Money dictating the winners and controlling decisions at all levels of our government. We stand on the brink of tyranny! Do we want our children to become slaves of moneyed interests to be used in forever wars as mercenaries? It is not too late to stop and to remove this insidious worm in the heart of our Republic!

Please, join with your fellow concerned citizens for a silent hour of protest on the ten-year anniversary of the Citizens United case and the Supreme Court’s betrayal of our country.

When: 12:00 until 1:00 PM, January 21, 2020.

Where: Meet at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza on North Palafox Street between Garden and Chase Streets in downtown Pensacola.

50 North Palafox Street
