Organization Description

Whether it was working with specific candidates, environmental groups, etc., I kept encountering the unfortunate fact that seemingly all roads to led to corruption in our legislature and the dominance of corporate interests over our society.

After researching the exorbitant amounts of money that is effectively wasted running campaigns and graduating with a degree in International Affairs from the University of Georgia, I chose to go to law school at the Georgia State University College of Law to figure out how to overturn Citizens United.

More than anything, I am sick of the rampant corporate capitalist culture that, left unchecked by Congress, threatens to shred the remainders of what democracy and human decency we have left.

I recognize this as the great struggle of my generation, and I am incredibly proud to work with Move to Amend towards finding a solution. I hope you can join us and help fight this good fight!
