Move to Amend is a partner of the June 14 NO KINGS National Day of Action and mass mobilization - organized in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump regime.
We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech (of people, not corporations), detained people for their political positions, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire and corporate allies. They think they rule—but we are more powerful than even their worst aspirations.
While flagrant and unapologetic authoritarian rule efforts are recent, corporate rule has gone on for more a century. Shielded by Supreme Court-anointed constitutional rights, corporations have crushed our efforts to provide quality health care, shelter, food, education and employment to all, a livable natural world and a real democracy.
That's why Move to Amend will call on June 14 to
End Authoritarian AND Corporate Rule
We are asking our supporters to join thousands of people for No Kings Day in their local communities. This is an important moment to raise up the We the People Amendment.
Here's how you can help:
1. Sign up to attend one or more actions on Saturday, June 14 near you.

Note: If there's not an action already planned in your community, register your own event, recruit, and build to show the stakes of this crisis, and the resolve of the opposition. Sign up here to let us know you're coming!
BEFORE YOU REGISTER YOUR EVENT: - Check to see if there are other events in your area that you can join. If so reach out to the organizers to see if you can speak! If not, find a co-host to help you put on an event! - Check nokings.org for resources and trainings!
When creating your event, don't enter an attendee max capacity unless necessary; most locations will not require capacity limits, and entering one will prevent additional sign-ups.
2. Print this 8 1/2 x 11 sheet to make a poster (i.e., one on each side of a poster board) to display at your event(s). Speak with people. Encourage them to sign the petition using the QR code.
This is a great way to discuss how we need to abolish not only authoritarian rule but also corporate rule -- including the corrupting influence of corporate money and billionaire money in elections.
Move to Amend has set a goal of gathering 1000 signatures on No Kings Day. Please help us out.
You'll notice a square computer generated code on the top of the paper petition. This is called a Quick Response Code. If folks you're asking to sign have a smart phone, they can use a QR Code App and point their phone at the image - they will instantly be taken to our petition page online where they can sign up directly via their phone. This saves you time so you don't have to type up their information.
When you're petitioning, ask if folks have smart phones and encourage them to sign the petition online via the QR Code. Just make sure they do it on the spot rather than saving it for later because they're likely to forget.
