First and foremost, we are delighted to announce that the We the People Amendment (HJR54) is in the 118th Congress and already has 46 cosponsors!

This is a big first step forward and a testament to our collective dedication to the cause of reclaiming our democracy from the influence of money and corporate power!

But as we celebrate this significant milestone, we recognize that there is still much work to be done. We firmly believe that we can achieve our ultimate goal of passing the We the People Amendment, but we cannot do it without your continued support. That is why we are reaching out to you today.

We are setting an ambitious goal to secure 54 new monthly sustaining donors by the end of May. Monthly donations provide us with a stable foundation for our work, allowing us to plan and execute long-term strategies to drive meaningful change.

Pass More Local Resolutions: Thanks to our grassroots efforts and the dedication of our supporters, we have successfully passed over 700 local resolutions and ballot initiatives across the United States, calling for a constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision.

2. Continue Building a National Movement: Move to Amend has grown into a powerful and inclusive movement, with nearly 500,000 supporters, along with active volunteers working tirelessly to promote democratic values and hold corporations accountable.

3. Expand our Educational Outreach: Move to Amend is committed to raising awareness and educating the public about the detrimental effects of corporate power, money in politics, and about movement building. Through our educational materials, events, and webinars, we have reached thousands of individuals who are now empowered to take action across the country - from California to Ohio and Florida and Texas to Minnesota and Alaska!

4. Continue Building a Strong Coalition: Move to Amend has formed strong alliances with numerous organizations, unions, and grassroots groups that share our commitment to a democracy that serves the people. By working together, we amplify our impact and bring about real change.

5. Advocate and Lobby: we've been actively advocating for the passing of the We the People Amendment to limit corporate rule, promote transparency, and empower everyday citizens. We have made significant strides in shaping legislation that addresses the root causes of political inequality.
