Our volunteers work in their local communities to raise awareness about our movement to amend the Constitution, educate candidates and elected officials, and build support for the We the People Amendment!

At Move to Amend, we are working tirelessly to end corporate personhood and the corrupting influence of money in politics through the We the People Amendment (H.J. Res. 54). This amendment aims to restore power to the people by ensuring that corporations no longer have the same rights as people and that money can no longer dominate our political system.
Corporate control is preventing us from having REAL democracy.
Citizens United and many other SCOTUS decisions gave corporations the ability to spend unlimited money on elections.
We need bold action to ensure that our government works for the people, not corporate interests.

We call for an amendment to the US Constitution to unequivocally state that inalienable rights belong to human beings only, and that money is not a form of protected free speech under the First Amendment and can be regulated in political campaigns.
