HJR 54 Gains two more cosponsors!

We have fantastic news!

Move to Amend is excited to share that Rep. Bennie G. Thompson from MS-2 and Rep. Mike Levin from CA-49 have joined our growing list of Congressional cosponsors for H.J.R. 54, the We the People Amendment. This brings our total to 87 cosponsors!

We’re just 13 cosponsors away from our goal of 100 for the 118th Congress, and your help is crucial. Here’s how you can get involved:

1. Call Your Representative with One Click Politics

Our One Click Politics software makes it easy to connect with your Representative’s office. By answering a few simple questions like your zip code and phone number, you’ll be directly linked to your Representative. Let them know why HJR 54 matters and urge them to support it.

2. Get Candidates to Take the Pledge to Amend

As election season heats up, use this opportunity to get all candidates for local, state, and federal office to take the Pledge to Amend. The Pledge reads: "I support amending the U.S. Constitution to make clear that corporations and other artificial entities do not have Constitutional rights and that money is not speech and campaign spending should be limited through regulation." Our goal is to secure 1000 Pledge to Amend signups—ideally at least 50% of candidates elected on election day. This will help make the We the People Amendment a central issue in the elections.

3. Support Us with a Donation

Move to Amend operates 100% on grassroots support. Your contributions directly enable our work towards meaningful change. Consider making a donation to support our mission.

The need for change is urgent, and your involvement can be a game-changer. Thank you for your commitment and support!
