On July 28th, 2022, the Austin City Council approved a resolution in support of Move to Amend's "We the People" amendment and movement. 

We really appreciate Council Member Kathie Tovo's leadership on writing the resolution as well as her staff and colleagues who co-sponsored the resolution and voted in favor.

We are now working with the Travis County Commissioners Court to get a similar resolution approved at the County level, part of Move to Amend's nation-wide effort to win visible support from all levels of elected officials in support of ending corporate personhood and ensuring that money stops corrupting our democracy.
