UNIONS AND THE WE THE PEOPLE AMENDMENT      

Hear Lawrence Abbott tell us why unions should not fear the “We the People” Constitutional Amendment—HJR54, which would “level the playing field” for money participation in the political process by all corporations and other organizations.

A retired member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Lawrence has also been extremely active in volunteering with his local labor federation: the Alameda Labor Council (ALC). He was recently recognized as ALC’s “Unionist of the Year.”
