On May 1, 2025, workers, immigrants, students, and families will rally in over 900 cities and all 50 states to protest what they are calling the “Billionaire agenda” and demand public investment in working people’s lives, not billionaires’ bank accounts.

Attend an event near you…and show your support for the We the People Amendment as a solution to the many individual problems we’re currently facing.
It’s simply not enough to oppose all the individual assaults on people and communities. It’s also not enough to just oppose Trump, Musk and billionaires. Not when the ultimate problem is our fundamentally undemocratic constitutional, political and economic systems that affirm corporate rights and the rights of the super rich over people’s rights, worker’s rights and human rights.
If you attend a rally:
- Make a sign (a few ideas: End Corporate Rule, Pass the We the People Amendment, Worker & Human Rights over Corporate Rights, the System isn’t Broken, it’s Fixed)
- Circulate the Move to Amend petition
- Download, insert your contact info (if relevant) copy and distribute this handout
- If you have one, wear your Move to Amend button
Drawing inspiration from the legacy of labor and community movements of the past that fought for the eight-hour workday, and building upon the protests against the federal layoffs, for union rights, and the more recent April 5th nationwide event, the May Day action is dedicated to fighting for a better future that prioritizes the needs of working families and their neighborhoods.
We hope you can attend.
In solidarity
