WALNUT CREEK -- A nationwide organization seeking to reverse a Supreme Court decision on campaign finance will host a forum in Walnut Creek on April 5.

Titled "Challenging Corporate Rule and Creating Democracy," speakers include David Cobb and Sarah Scudder with the Move to Amend campaign.

The organization is challenging the Citizens United vs. FEC ruling, which allows corporations to spend unlimited money on independent expenditures such as radio and television ads, fliers and other communications to support or oppose federal candidates.

The coalition has an online petition at calling for a constitutional amendment that would overturn the judicial decision.

The free public event will be held from 7-9 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church, 55 Eckley Lane in Walnut Creek.
