Erin Murphy answered 2020-06-24 11:27:53 -0700Q: How will you use your public office to end corporate constitutional rights and big money in politics?
A: If we want to build a people-centered democracy in Minnesota, we must fight against the influence of corporate greed on our politics. The wealthy few who work to divide us and rig the rules should not be able to stand in the way of what Minnesotans want – and no matter our differences, most of us want the same things. As a State Senator I will work to eliminate the corrosiveness of money in politics and put people at the center of our governance. When people experience their own power as be a part of change together, we can create a truly bright future.
