A group of folks from Willimantic, CT area will meet to strategize an action/event for Jan. 20th Occupy the Courts called for by Move to Amend! Our first meeting date is 6pm-7pm, Friday Dec 30th, at the Cafemantic Coffeehouse in Willimantic, CT. A follow up meeting is also planned for Thursday January 4th at 6pm in Mansfield, CT location TBA.

If you do plan to attend come with ideas for an action on the Jan. 20th and any preliminary preparation/ strategies and actions that can be discussed! Some ideas already being tossed around are an action at the Federal Courthouse in Hartford, CT with actions leading up to event like leafletting at local venues, contacting other organizations, unions, Occupy groups, civic and environmental groups to join in on action. Day of action there is interest in some form of puppet/stilt theater spectacle! Please join us!!
