LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Like-minded citizens in Lake and Mendocino Counties are now circulating petitions promoting nothing less than an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to end “corporate personhood” and reestablish a government of, by and for the people.

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Several Lake County residents will attend two events in Sacramento to mark the second anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's Citizens United decision.
The court ruled that corporations are people and that money equals speech, so campaign finance cannot be regulated.
On Friday, www.MoveToAmend.org is sponsoring Occupy The Courts Day at more than 130 locations around the country, including the Supreme Court in Washington, DC, to protest the decision and advocate a constitutional amendment that repeals it.
